Day 01 of Ghorepani Poon Hill Yoga Trek

Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m)

When you arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you will come to our office at Goldhungga. After checking in, we take a rest in the hotel in Kathmandu. You may also go to the city to visit as your wish. We will take our dinner with nice foods and spend our overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02 of Ghorepani Poon Hill Yoga Trek

Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation day

We will do yoga and take our breakfast in the morning.

On this day, in the morning, after our breakfast, we will start a guided tour to many historical and spiritual places in Kathmandu. Our tour includes the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) and Bouddhanath (Buddhist shrine), which is one of the largest stupas in the world. We will visit on this day, all the places which are listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There will be a brief discussion about our whole Poon Hill yoga trek in a group, in the afternoon.  Our overnight will be spent at the hotel in Kathmandu.

We will do Pranayam and Meditation in the evening.

Day 03 of Ghorepani Poon Hill Yoga Trek

Fly from Kathmadu to Pokhara 900 m and trek to Tikhedhunga (1527m)

We will do yoga and take our breakfast in the morning.

On our third day of Ghorepani Poon Hill yoga trek, we will fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu after our breakfast. We will go to Nayapul from airport in Pokhara. From Nayapul, we will start our trekking and head to Thikhedhunga. We can enjoy the green forest on our route. We can see the scenery of the villages and meadows. We also can see the beautiful peaks of the mountains from our route. We will spend our overnight in Tikhedhunga in the tea house.

We will do Pranayam and Meditation in the evening.

Day 04 of Ghorepani Poon Hill Yoga Trek

Trek from Tikhedhung to Ghorepani 2810 m

We will do yoga and take our breakfast in the morning.

On our fourth day of Ghorepani Poon Hill yoga trek, we will leave Tikhedhunga and head to Ghorepani after our breakfast at the tea house. This day’s trek may be the most difficult trek of the entire Ghorepani Poon Hill Yoga trek. We will go to the steep way towards the upside. We will walk on the stone paved road which is adventurous. When we reach to Ghorepani, we can see the beautiful mountain views from the close. We will stay our overnight at a guest house.

We will do Pranayam and Meditation in the evening.

Day 05 of Ghorepani Poon Hill Yoga Trek

Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill 3210 m and trek to Tadapani 2700 m

We will do yoga and take our breakfast in the morning.

This is our fifth day of Ghorepani Poon Hill yoga trek. On this day, we will go to Poon Hill to view the beautiful sunrise early in the morning. We will reach Poon Hill before the sunrise. When the first sunrise on the mountain appears, we will observe the beauty of the sun on the White Mountains. It will be a very amazing moment because that view can attract us intensely. We will see the spectacular sunrise view and different 10 mountains from this place. After enjoying the beauty of the nature, we will trek to Tadapani. Our overnight will be in Tadapani.

Day 06 of Ghorepani Poon Hill Yoga Trek

Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk to Pokhara

We will do yoga and take our breakfast in the morning.

On our sixth day of our Ghorepani Poon Hill yoga trek, we will explore the Ghandruk village. When we start to walk from Tadapani, we will go to Ghandruk village and we will continue our trek to Pokhara at Nayapul. After Nayapul, we will drive to Pokhara to stay there.

We will observe the Gurung ethnic community in Ghandruk. We will have our lunch there. We will see the different culture of the people in the village. Our overnight will be at the hotel in Pokhara.

We will do Pranayam and Meditation in the evening.

 

Day 07 of Ghorepani Poon Hill Yoga Trek

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

We will do yoga and take our breakfast in the morning.

On this seventh day of our Ghorepani Poon Hill yoga trek, we will drive to Kathmandu from pokhara. When we will reach to Kathmandu, we will be transferred to the hotel. We will have the farewell dinner with our officials. Our overnight will be at the hotel in Kathmandu.

We will do Pranayam and Meditation in the evening.

Day 08 of Ghorepani Poon Hill Yoga Trek

Departure day

Your 8th day of Ghorepani Poon Hill yoga trek will be the departure day to your home country from Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal. We wish you a very safe journey.

  • We provide you the bed and breakfast. Accommodation will be shared by two people. However, you can book for the single room with extra charge.
