Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport

The spiritual tour in Nepal commences the moment you set foot on the Tribhuvan International Airport. There, you will meet the company representative and he will transfer you to your hotel in Thamel. In the evening, you will meet the company officials and enjoy a welcome dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02 : Visiting Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath, and Kapan Gumba

Swoyambhunath

Once you finish the morning breakfast, we will head out to Swoymabhunath. It sits on top of a hill in Kathmandu and is an important hub for Newar Buddhists. The morning ambiance is filled with prayers, the smell of incense, and naughty monkeys. There are other temples too which are worthy of visiting.

Boudhanath

Similarly, we shall head out to Boudhanath at around 10 am. Drive may take about 1 hour (depending upon traffic conditions). The stupa is huge and is filled with Tibetan monks and is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You can find peace by observing the prayers and taking part in the circumambulation.  

Kapan Gumba

On the north of Boudha, lies Kapan Gumba. This gumba sits on top of a hill and overlooks the Kathmandu valley. The gumba has certain entry restrictions. It comprises of Thangka paintings, library, and monks live there too. They practice Buddhism and if you ask, they might share some secrets with you. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03 : of the spiritual tour in Nepal: Head to Manakamana and proceed to Pokhara.

Today, we shall head to the Manakamana temple. It sits in Gorkha and to reach there, we must travel through the Prithivi Highway. The journey takes about 3-4 hours. We reach Kurintar from where we shall ride a cable car. The temple is dedicated to Lord Bhagwati, the incarnation of Parvati. The temple has a magical ambiance and it is delightful.

After having lunch, we shall head to Pokhara which takes an additional 3-4 hours. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 04: Visiting the Tal Barahi temple and Bindabasini temple

On the fourth day of this spiritual tour in Nepal, we shall visit the numerous temples in Pokhara.

Tal Barahi temple

The Tal Barahi temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati and sits right in the middle of the Fewa Lake. It can be accessed via a boat only. There are morning Pujas held which is worth visiting. The temple is 2-storeyed and is built in pagoda style.

Bindabasini temple

Bindabasini temple was built by the King of Kaski which he had seen in his dream. This temple is built in Shikar style and it is draped in white. The temple is dedicated to Bhagwati but there are other small temples on the premises too. The temple provides a soothing feeling to many. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 05: Travel from Pokhara to Tansen

We shall wake up early and head towards Tansen, Palpa. We shall travel by private bus and use the Siddhartha highway. The journey takes about 3 hours (due to traffic conditions and highway nature).

We shall visit the Bhagawati temple and understand its history. The temple is built in a pagoda theme and is beautiful. Climb the Srinagar hill and find yourself in the vicinity of the Siddhi Binayak temple. Historians believe that the temple was built with the help of craftsmen from Kathmandu. Finally, we shall visit the Bhimsen temple to call it a day.

These amazing sites provide travelers with important knowledge about the prevailing culture and it soothes the soul. Overnight in Tansen.

Day 06: of Spiritual tour to Nepal: Travel from Tansen to Lumbini

The roads for the day take us to Lumbini. We shall use the Siddhartha highway too. Lumbini lies in the Terai region and consequently, it is hot and humid. Lumbini has numerous sites that are worthy of visiting. For starters, we shall head out towards the Maya Devi temple and the Ashoka pillar. In this temple, Lord Buddha was born. The temple dates back to thousands of years.

World Peace Pagoda and Monasteries

Besides, we shall visit the World Peace Pagoda. This Pagoda is similar to the one in Pokhara. It is not recommended to talk on these premises. You can even see people meditating here. After visiting the pagoda, we will head out to visit the monasteries. There are many monasteries like the Thailand monastery, Chinese monastery, and others. Overnight in Lumbini.

Day 07: Visit Tilaurakot

Tilaurakot is a small village near Lumbini. It is greatly associated with Lord Buddha. Archaeologists have found ruins of ancient castles and small temples here. From the hotel, we shall take a short drive and explore it. Interact with the locals and understand the importance of the archaeological find. Overnight in Lumbini.

Day 08: Head back to Kathmandu via airplane

On the 8th day of the spiritual tour in Nepal, we shall head back to Kathmandu via an airplane. The flight takes about 35 minutes and it provides amazing views of the snowy mountains. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, we will have lunch and head out to visit Patan Durbar Square.

The Patan Durbar Square was built by the Malla kings and it is one of the many UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu. We shall visit the Krishna temple, the Bhimsen Temple, and the Golden temple as well. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 09: Visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changunarayan temple

We shall visit the famous Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changunarayan temple for the day. The drive may take an hour or more. The Durbar Square was built by the ancient Malla kings and consists of the 55-windowed palace and the Golden door. If you want to experience tranquility, then this is the place to be.

A bit away from the Bhaktapur Durbar Square lies the Changunarayan temple. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple is considered as the oldest temple in Nepal. It is built in Pagoda style and comprises other small temples too. After the tour, we will head back to the hotel where you will take part in the farewell dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Departure from Kathmandu

Today, you shall depart from Kathmandu and end the spiritual tour in Nepal. Our representative will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport. We hope you had a wonderful time with us and we hope to see you again.
