Nepal is a country located in South Asia and is located between the big countries India and China. The country is landlocked and is surrounded by land from all sides. India surrounds the country from east, west, and south while China surrounds it in the north. Nepal is incredibly beautiful by the natural resources it possesses. The country is incredibly famous for its trekking routes and places to visit. Some of the trekking routes of the country are listed best in the world. Annapurna trekking routes, Everest base camp trek, Mardi Himal trek, Manaslu circuit trek are some of the best trekking routes here according to various media and even the internet supports this.
However, this is not all Nepal has much more than this which has not come to the surface. To say the truth there are many trekking routes and visiting spots that are no less than the most famous trekking routes in Nepal. However, due to lack of exposure and having no mainstream promotion they are not so popular. In recent times this trend is in the process of changing due to more people being attracted to traveling and tourism. Among the many trekking routes is Lamjung Himal trekking which is gaining immense popularity and people also like it.
The Himalayas are one of the most famous tourist sites in the world. However, why are the Himalayas so famous? Where does lie and which country does it belong?
The Himalayas are the most famous mountain range in the world because the highest peaks in the world lie here. The range is formed by the collision of the Indian plates with the European plated beneath the ground. However, there are many theories behind the formation of the Himalayas, but the collision of the plates is the most plausible one.
The Himalayas do not only belong to one country but belongs to few countries and extend along a line. Pakistan, India, China, and Bhutan are the countries among which the Himalayas are divided. Nepal also has a fair share of the Himalayas that extends in its northern borders. The portion of the Himalayas that is in the northern part of Nepal is shared with China. The most famous mountains in the world like Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Kanchenjunga all belong to the Himalayan range of Nepal.
The Himalayan range is not just in Nepal but is a major tourism site in other countries that has it in its territory. The peaks are astonishing people go to the various mountains within the range to view them, climb them, or admire the unparallel beauty these majestic things possess.

Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu
Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal and lies in the hilly region of the country. The beautiful capital of the country is surrounded by hills from all sides. Nearly, all the international tourists arriving in Nepal need to arrive through here as Kathmandu valley holds the only international airport in the country which is Tribhuvan International airport. Tribhuvan International airport is located at the heart of the Kathmandu valley.
However, there is a little bit of different rule for the travelers of India and China. The Indian travelers do not need to get a visa to travel to Nepal so if they wish or are near to Nepal border can get to the destination without coming to Kathmandu. Chinese also do not need to get a visa to stay in Nepal for up to 30 days so if by any chance they can avoid Kathmandu they certainly can.
For the people who are coming to Lamjung Himal trekking from other countries, get off at Tribhuvan International Airport. They will be picked up from the airport and will be taken to the hotel. After reaching the hotel they will be given adequate time to freshen up and be comfortable from their long journey.
After having lunches and in the late evening the trekkers will be detailed about the entire course of Lamjung Himal trekking. It is the time when the trekkers have some doubt in mind regarding the Lamjung Himal trekking or other things they can bring up to the management team. After getting briefed the visitors are given time to rest and relax as they may be very tired from the long journey they just had.
Day 02 : Visit to Kathmandu
Kathmandu is the biggest city in all over Nepal. There are high chances to find the things you are looking for with great range have the highest possibility to be found here than any other regions of Nepal. Kathmandu is also home to many cultures and cultural heritage sites. If one has gotten here one needs to enjoy the wonders of the Kathmandu valley.
Kathmandu has a total of 7 cultural heritage sites within it. Our goal is Lamjung Himal trekking, but Kathmandu is on the way to get there. So. If you are in Kathmandu, you need to visit it. Kathmandu is not that big city compared to other big cities in the world however, the unique characters and locations of Kathmandu give it the feel of the bigger city as it takes quite time to completely visit it.
Day 03 : Kathmandu to Beshi Sahar
The travelers on the 3rd day of Lamjung Himal trekking wake up at Kathmandu and prepare for long day travel. Today the travelers aim to reach beshi Sahar. The distance between Kathmandu to Beshi Sahar is about 173KM which can be easily completed in 5 to 6 hours if the vehicle moves at a steady speed. The vehicle moves to Prithivi highway to escape Kathmandu valley and get to the destination of day 3. The night will be spent at beshi Sahar.
Day 04: Beshi Sahar to Baglung pani
The trekkers will wake up at Beshi Sahar and make their destination to Baglung Pani. On the 4th day of Lamjung Himal trekking, the walking part of the trek officially begins. Baglung pani is located at the altitude of 1524m from sea level while Beshi Sahar was located at an elevation of 823m from sea level. The traveling time required to reach baglung pani from Beshi Sahar is estimated to be 5 to 6 hours. If the trekkers can begin the walk early, they can have leisure time in the afternoon.
Day 05: Baglung pani to Ghanpokhara
The destination of the 5th day of Lamjung Himal trekking is Ghanpokhara. Ghanpokhara is located at an elevation of 2200m from sea level. The average time needed to reach Ghanpokhara from Baglung pani is about 5 hours. However, Ghalegaon is on the way to reach Ghanpokhara. Ghalegaon is one of the most popular destinations in Nepal where tourists come to enjoy this beautiful settlement.
This settlement is famous for its traditional houses and the beautiful view of nature from there. It is on the way so if the trekkers start early, they can spend time at Ghalegaon. After passing through Ghalegaon after some time Ghanpokhara will be reached and the night of the 5th day of lamjung Himal trekking will be spent there.
Day 06: Ghanpokhara to Bhasi Kharka
Trekkers will wake on the 6th day in Ghanpokhari to reach their destination. After getting ready and becoming fresh they will get some food and begin their journey. The trekkers must move towards the ridge to reach Bhasi Kharka. Bhasi Kharka is located at the elevation of 2850m and is the place where the large herds of cattle are grazed in seasons where the area becomes green.
Day 07 : Bhasi Kharkha to Rambrong lower basecamp
Rambrong lower base camp is located at an elevation of 3765m from sea level. The trekkers need to walk few hours to get here. However, the walking pace and the trekking experience of the person determines the average walking time of the group. For experienced and young trekkers, the average time may not take while for little bit inexperienced and old age trekkers it may take more time than average time also. Also, the altitude at the end of this day will reach 3765m so the trekkers will need to take care of themselves at high altitudes and severely weaken some individuals.
Day 08: Telbrung Danda view point
This is the 8th day of the Lamjung Himal trekking and this day is also packed with much adventure and fun. The trekkers need to do a variety of things today. The first option is to get to Telbrung Danda’s viewpoint while the second option is to rest. Telbrung Danda viewpoint provides an astonishing view of the surroundings and peaks. The trip to the viewpoint is optional and people who do not want to go on to the peak can rest at the place they had stayed the night.
The rest also seems nice as they had been on the road or walk for more than a week. For the people who have no prior trekking experience, such long continuous movement can take a toll on the body so if people are not feeling like they can carry on they can also take a rest or put some days of rest between the trekking period. The leisure days between the trekking days also aid the acclimatization to the high-altitude environment.
Day 09: Trek to Rambrong base camp
Rambrong base camp is the final destination of day 9 of Lamjung base camp, however, reaching it is not the main attraction this day. The trekkers will first climb the west summit of the Rambrong. The summit is located at an elevation of 4500m from sea level. First, the trekkers will climb to the peak of Ramborg and descend to the base camp to spend the night. The Rambrong base camp is located at an elevation of 3850m from sea level. The trek of the 9th day may be hard so the trekkers need to rest and have a good diet to keep them energetic and strong.
Day 10: Trek to Haju dobato from Rambrong base camp
Haju Dobato is located at an elevation of 3420m from sea level. The trekkers will wake at the altitude of 3850m in Rambrong base camp and descend to the altitude of 3420m from the sea level. Haju dobato is located at karpu Danda. The trekkers are now on the move for ten days, so they need to take care of their bodies more than ever and rest enough.
Day 11: Haju Dobato to Deurali
This is the 11th day and we are almost the end of the long trekking of lamjung himal. The destination of the 11th day of Lamjung Himal trekking is Deurali. Deurali is located at an elevation of 3000m from sea level. The night will be spent at deurali.
Day 12 : Deurali to Tanting
Tanting is located at an elevation of 1650m from sea level. Tanting is also the ultimate destination of the trekkers before heading to Kathmandu. To go to Tanting from deurali the trekkers need to go past through the Tanting forest then Tanting besi. The night of the 12th day will be spent at Tanting besi.
Day 13 : Tanting to Kathmandu
This is the final day of trekking. The trekkers will wake up at Tanting and prepare themselves to get back to Kathmandu. The distance between Kathmandu and Tantinf is about 137KM. With the average speed along the highway, the trekkers can return to Kathmandu within 4 to 5 hours in a private vehicle. After reaching Kathmandu the trek has officially ended. The night will be spent at Kathmandu valley.
Day 14 : Last Day
