Rolwaling yoga trekking offers you to have a wonderful experience getting the great opportunity to feel the energy of the mountain by the power of Yoga, Pranayam and meditation. It is the holy place to meditate and do yoga because one of the popular Buddhist saint Padmasambhava meditated here for three months. Meditation in the mountainous area is more powerful than in the normal altitude so we can experience the new taste of meditation.

Rolwaling Yoga trekking offers you the spectacular views of the mountains. You can also experience the authentic Sherpa culture and beautiful landscapes in Rolwaling. Rolwaling valley is known as Gaurisankar Rural Municipality and it is the section of the Himalayas towards the Tibet border. The height of Gaurisankar Himal is 7134m which is the point from where Nepal’s time zone has been determined. The time zone of Nepal has been confirmed by the Gaurishankar Himal

Rolwaling is a beautiful valley from the remote mountainside at the altitude of 4000m. It is situated in the northeast direction from Kathmandu. It is close to the Tibetan border and to the west of the Mt. Everest. In terminological meaning, Rolwaling means sacred hidden valley. It is believed that the sacred hidden valley is carved from the land with one stroke of Buddhist saint Padmasambhava’s plow. After forming the valley Padmasambhava meditated there for three months with his disciples. Rolwaling is one of the spiritual, religious and natural places of Nepal where many tourists come to visit every year.

There are two villages in the Rolwaling area, they are Beding(36oom) and Na(4200m). The people who live there are mostly Sherpa. They make typical two stories houses mostly by stones and sloped roof by wood. Doors and windows are small because of the cold environment.
Most of the people use firewood to cook their food.

Rolwaling is newly opened trekking track in 2001, before that this place was restricted to trek. Western explorer Eric Shipton discovered this area for the first time in 1951 during the reconnaissance of Mount Everest. Best months for Rolwaling trekking are March, April, May, September, October, November and December because of the clear weather and glorious views of the mountains and the green vegetation. It takes 20 days total to complete this trekking.
