Itinerary

Day 01: Helicopter tour to the Everest Base Camp
The Everest base camp helicopter tour is divided into different phases. The first phase includes arriving at the airport at around 6 to 7 in the morning. Depending upon the weather conditions and visibility, it can be a bit earlier or late. Once you get the legal formalities sorted, you will be taken to the helicopter. The helicopter is spacious, safe, and comfortable.

The pilot and co-pilot will inform you about the mandatory protocol so be sure to listen carefully. When the signal hits green, we find ourselves soaring through the sky flying above Nagarkot and Jiri forests to arrive at Lukla, otherwise known as the “Gateway of the Everest region”. This takes around 45 minutes for this Everest helicopter tour.

After the helicopter is refueled in Lukla, the second phase of the journey takes you across the bustling Buddhist settlement of Namche Bazar and then to the highly religious Tengboche monastery. This monastery is greatly revered amongst the Buddhist people in these parts. As you move ahead, we begin to observe the glorious Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks like Ama Dablam and Nuptse. We fly through the Everest Base Camp and arrive at the vantage point of Kalapatthar during this Everest helicopter tour.

From here, one can observe and comprehend the true magnitude of the Everest region. After clicking some photos and relaxing, we head to Phase 3. All that sightseeing is bound to make anyone hungry. The Everest helicopter tour flight shall lead you to the Everest View Hotel in Namche Bazar. Enjoy typical Sherpa cuisine and finally, head back to Kathmandu to end this magical journey.

Note: If you Have time to explore the real Nepal, we suggest you take part in the Everest Base Camp trekking program which is Nepal’s one of the best treks. Next, a popular destination is ABC ( Annapurna Base Camp) Trekking.
