Beginning the Annapurna Base Camp trekking is from Naya Pool, the way follows the bank of Modi khola. Annapurna Base Camp trek covers the area of the Kali Gandaki River to the west and Marshyangi River to the east.

Day 01: From Kathmandu To Pokhara
Crossing the Kathmandu valley through Prithvi Highway, the travel continues on the same highway viewing the turning and twist of the road following the Trishuli River. The journey enthuse you with the scenic view of houses positioned on the slope-looking hills.
You will experience the structural differences of the buildings while moving further to Pokhara from Kathmandu. And one more thing, your nose will sense more differences than anything else. The journey will take about 6/7 hours of travel.
Day 02 : Naya Pool (940 Meters) to Tikhedhunga (1540 Meters).
Driving up to Naya Pool. Then the trek starts with adventurous hiking further following the bank of Modi Khola. During your first day trek, you would be mesmerized to see the beauty of the pine trees, rhododendron, and rice-fields looking like amphitheater.
The experience of rustic setting keeps continuing with different cultures and practices of ethnic communities. Not making your legs more fatigue, and requesting to the hurried heads to relax for this day, trek concludes to Tikhedhunga. We exercise our legs by 3/4 hours of hike.
Day 03: Tikhedhunga To Ghorepani (2850 Meters)
Considering the trek hours of about 3 to 4 hours, the trek resumes for day three from Tikhedunga. Trailing up to reach Ulleri village, we pave on the stone steps, greenery forest, and the trees of rhododendron along the way.
Even though the trek looks strenuous because of uphill hike, the charming beauty of the nature and the soul-inspiring view of the peaks such as Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and Annapurna will definitely makes you forget the difficulty of the path.
In spite of the feeling fatigue to your legs and muscles, your eyes and heart will rejuvenates more than ever.
Day 04: Ghorepani To Tadapani (2660 Meters)
To make the visit most surprising and amazing, early in the morning, the trek goes to Pun Hill to view the golden glow of the early morning sun on the horizon making the snowy mountains glimmering and glowing golden with shining rays.
It’s breath-taking experience which charges you for rest of the trek. Counter-balancing the ups and downs, the trek descends down to 300 meter below from Ghorepani.
While stepping down through the dense forest, you will see the presence of flora and fauna. Continuing the trek fo 3/4 hours arrives your todays’ destination Tadapani.
Day 05: Tadapani To Chomrong (2140 Meters)
The trek still descends down from Tadapani to Chomrong. The trek goes further with crossing of the suspension bridge laid over Kimrong Khola. Following the path greenery pastures and jungle, you also continue our trek further through the west of Modi river.
The upper Modi Valley appears close while trailing down the path. Eventually, the trek again signs off for today completing the hike of 4/5 hours.
Day 06 : Chomrong To Dovan (2600 Meters).
Even though the altitude suggest the ascending up to the hill, our trek trails down through the pastures. After crossing the Chomrong Khola, the hike goes up to the upper Modi Khola Valley which was seen yesterday from the bank of the Modi Khola.
Hiking past the upper Modi Khola Valley, Khuldighar Khola has to be crossed before reaching to Dovan. The day finishes up at Dovan with the completion of 4 hours trek.
Day 07: Dovan To Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700 Meters).
The acclimation in the environment must be experienced as the altitude rises high this day. About 4 hours trek leads you to the area of Machhapuchhre Base Camp from Dovan.
You can see few teahouses and hotels in the vicinity and on the horizon, you see the shining scene of Machhapuchhre, towering tall as if it is touching the sky, along with Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri.
Day 08: Machhapuchhre Base Camp To Annapurna Base Camp (4110 Meters)
The highest altitude of your trek is waiting ahead today. Also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary, you now ascend up to get mesmerized and magnetized by the marvelous and splendid beauty of sky-touching peaks and terrific terrestrial creation of the God in the form of glittering and sparkling mountains, glaciers and snowy rocks positioned like sky-skyscrapers.
Some of the rocks and hills look greenish and barren as well. The eyes will be protected by the sunglasses perceiving the fact that you will not get lose your eyesight in the name of watching dazzling mountains.
Wow, you may not have even brought the talk of tiredness today! It’s because you are recharged and energized by the natural energy and atmosphere of this holy Himalayan land in spite of walking for 6 hours.
Day 09: Annapurna Base Camp To Bamboo (2300 Meters)
In the morning the rays of the sun smeared in the snowy summit of Annapurna would look the most scintillating and soul-inspiring view. After enjoying the beauty of the panorama, the trek descends down through the barren pastures and meadows.
The focal point of the trek has been visited. However, the beauty lies in every point of your trek. The each different place provides you different flavor. Thus, you come to the 9th day station named Bamboo. It was 5 hours hike.
Day 10: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1780 Meters)
While descending down to Jhinu Danda, Ghuldighar hill and Sinuwa hill triggers your mind again to remind the whole trek like a movie in front of you. Despite of the fact that you’ve yet to finish the trek, you feel at this point of your trek that you’ve successfully completed your astounding and swashbuckling trek experience.
Within 3 or 4 hours of trek reaches you to Jhinu Danda.
Day 11: Jhinu Danda To Pokhara
About 6/7 hours of walk on eleventh day of your trek bring you the valley of picturesque paradise Pokhara. While trailing down from the Jhinu Danda, you would also come across Landruk Village if you take the longer route.
Nevertheless, you will follow the Modi again. This time you also be welcomed by the Syauli Bazar. Gosh, you arrive to the city of Pokhara.
Day 12: Pokhara To Kathmandu
You change the side of the road facing the east whereas you were travelling in the other side of the road facing to the west.
The journey will take about 7 hours and scene and surrounding will be same except the angle of your observation will be different if not anything else.
