Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu (1300 meter)

The preparation for the trek with documents will be finalized today. We’ll organize a welcome dinner for you.

Day 02 : Kathmandu to Pokhara (800 meter)

Early in the morning about 7 we start the journey to Pokhara on the bus. Observing the scintillating scenario along the edge of the Trishuli river you will continue your journey. You will always see one hill or the other sitting on either side of the road with greenery jungle and villages.

You will get surprised to see some houses set up aloof in the midst of the jungle. After travelling around 200 kilometer for 6/7 hours you will eventually reach to Pokhara where you will stay overnight.

Day 03: Pokhara to Dhampus (1500 meter)

Getting on the jeep for half an hour, you will reach to Phedi. From Phedi, you will trek further on the jungle of oak tree stepping on the narrow stone steps. The first startling glimpse of the mountain such Annapurna range, Machhapuchchhre, Lamjung Himal and Hiunchuli will be seen from the area of Dhampus.

The Himalayan land starts to startle you with wonderful views of the snow-covered mountains. Through the way, you will see the community of Brahman, Chhetri and Gurung in majority.

Day 04: Dhampus to Landruk (1646 meter)

You’ll trek for 5 hours today. Starting the trek after having breakfast in the morning, the trail ascends to Pothana through the forest of rhododendron and orchid. Even after reaching to Pothana, you still trail upwards for about two hours to cross a pass which measures 2150 meters.

The pass allows you to see the magnificent view of Machhapuchchhre and Annapurna. You will find it interesting to see the snow-capped mountains from different angle in every pass and point which give you different look of the mountains.

The trek descends to follow the edge of Modi khola before crossing it to see Landruk which lies at 1646 meter high from sea level. The views of Annapurna, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchchhre entice you. Overnight stay will at a guest house.

Day 05: Landruk to Jhinu Danda (1951 meter)

Heading along the way of the village, the terraced paddy field look not different than the tiers of the stadium in green or yellow color. The wind not only give you chill air but also make the paddy swing as the wave of the ocean.

Further the trail enters into the jungle which mesmerizes you by the euphonious and melodic sounds of the birds and the serene and exotic sounds of the air by flapping the leaves of the trees. On the way comes the Kimru river which will be crossed and ascend upward to Jhinu Danda village.

Overnight stay will be at a guest house. Four and half ours will be walked today.

Day 06 : Jhinu Danda to Chumrung (2170 meter)

The day will ask less hour of walk. From Jhinu Danda Village the trek moves further up towards the Gurung village called Chumrung. Within a three hours of walk, the destination for today will be reached. It is also the gateway of Annapurna Sanctuary.

Staying overnight at a guest house in Chumrung, the trail will be resumed tomorrow.

Day 07: Chumrung to Doban (2500 meter)

Leaving Chumrung, you will start the trek to reach the Chumrung river which will be crossed on a suspension bridge. Through the bamboo forests, the walk takes you to Sinuwa Danda village. You will come to walk on a stone stairs to continue the trail.

The astounding panorama of the mountains will be in the sight. Reaching to Khudi and Bambo village, the way further leads you upwards to reach Doban, the final destination for today. Overnight stay will be at a guest house.

Day 08: Doban to Deurali (3048 meter)

Taking the way upward for about four hours after having breakfast will take you to Deurali. The trail leads you up and up through the forest. During the walk in the forest you may come to see the monkeys jumping from one tree to another or one branch to another.

The long walk through the forest will bring you to the open are of Deurali which invites you to see the astonishing views of the mountains.

Day 09: Deurali to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700 meter)

Today, the destination takes us to one of the highest point of the trekking. You will cross glaciers and avalanche to pave your path to Machhapuchchhre Base Camp.

Walking along the way, you will feel the difference in the climate and the environment quite dramatically as you will trek further up. Instead of dense forest, you will see shrubs and barren-like pastures.

You will also be careful about the high altitude sickness coming to this point. Overnight stay will be at a tent. The day here at this place provides us the time to acclimatize before ascending even higher.

Day 10: Machhapuchchhre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp (4100 meter)

The trail leads you today to Annapurna Base Camp, the highest place of this trek. From the base camp of the mountains sanctified with the God Shiv, the way reaches you to the base camp of Annapurna which is hallowed as the Goddess of Harvest.

Even though this belief of this community and locals would sound bizarre to you, the scenic and scintillating scenario of the glittering glow of the mountains would definitely allure you.  

The 360 degree view from the mound, where the camp will be set up, will showcase the majestic peaks ranging from Annapurna I, III, IV and South, Machhapuchchhre, Hiuchuli, Singa Chuli erected on the measureless space of the sky all around you.

Day 11: ABC to Himalayan Hotel (2630 meter)

Early in the morning the sun rise view will be the moment of worthy of capturing as a picture as well as on your mind and heart. After taking breakfast, the trails descends down to Himalayan Hotel. The overnight will be rested in the area of Himalayan Hotel.

Day 12: Himalayan Hotel to Chumrung (2170 meter)

From Himalayan Hotel, the trails descends down to Chumrung. After walking for five hours, the destination for today comes

Day 13: Chumrung to Ghandruk (1970 meter)

From Chumrung, the journey will be headed to one of the mostly visited typical Gurung village called Ghandruk. The four and half hours of walk will eventually bring you to this culturally rich village which will welcome you with warm greetings not only by the people but also by the natural radiance it has owned.

Day 14: Ghandruk to Pokhara (800 meter)

The trek returns further to reach to Pokhara from the wonderful Ghandruk village. Observing the terraced hillsides and picturesque views, the trail takes you to Syauli Bazar. From Syauli Bazar to Nayapul, the path follows the edge of Modi khola.

Having lunch at Birethani, you will get on the jeep from Nayapul to reach Pokhara. It’s about four hours of journey including the travel on the jeep.

Day 15: Fly from Pokhara to Kahtmandu (1300 meter)

The trek returns further to reach to Pokhara from the wonderful Ghandruk village. Observing the terraced hillsides and picturesque views, the trail takes you to Syauli Bazar. From Syauli Bazar to Nayapul, the path follows the edge of Modi khola.

Having lunch at Birethani, you will get on the jeep from Nayapul to reach Pokhara. It’s about four hours of journey including the travel on the jeep.
