Itinerary
Day 01:
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2828 meter, 30-35 minutes) and trek to Phakding ( 4 hours)
Getting on the plane, you will start your adventure to Himalayan region of Nepal. Seeing the scintillating view of the mountains, you would get enthralled completely. You will be even curious to watch and enjoy more and more.
You would definitely forget to close your mouth either making sound or being speechless. When you are about to dream about the trek and you’ve just finished your tea, here comes the Lukla airport.
The opening of the door of the plane brings more chill and cold air inside which will give you the sense of weather even though you will already feel the cooling temperature in the air. Then you start the trek following the edge of Dhudh Koshi river through the pine and rhododendron forest.
After descending down for four hours you will reach to Phakding the destination for today. Overnight stay will at a guest.
Day 02 :
Phakding to Namche Bazar (3440 meter) for 5-6 hours
Early in the morning, the trek gets started after having breakfast walking along the edge of Dudha Koshi River. Time and again the same river will take you over the suspension bridge with colourful and brightening flags.
As soon as you enter into the area of Sagarmatha National Park, you will follow the ascending trek from Larja Dhobam up to the gateway of the Everest called Namche Bazar. Overnight stay will be at a guest house
Day 03:
The Rest Day
With the best hope and excitement, you acclimatize in the town today. Getting up early in the morning to go uphill for spectacular view of the mountains before clouds covers the sky. You would also enjoy the day with the visit the Sherpa museum.
The day would be fruitful to get ideas and interact with the locals for the environment and also for making oneself close to the community. It’s the day which allow you to prepare mentally and physically.
Day 04:
Namche Bazar to Phortse Tanga (3690 meter) for 4 hours of walk
The trail ascends to Khumjung hill. After climbing the hill, you will keep walking until you come to Mohang.
Mohang is reputed place for its recognition as the birth place of a reincarnation of a Lama of Longbuk monastery of Tibet who spread the Buddhism in Khumbu region. Overnight stay will be at a guest house.
Day 05:
Phortse Tanga to Dole (4200 meter) 4 hours of walk.
You will trail upwards through the rhododendron forest. After a while you will come to see the kharkas which are green pasture field used in summer by the Sherpa for taking the herds of Yak and sheep for grazing.
This would look such a scenic place to trail further along the pasture. The villages called Tongba and Gyele located at the height of 3950 and 3960 meter will be crossed along the way. After four hour of trek, the last station for today appears in your sight. Overnight stay will at a guest house.
Day 06 :
Dole to Machhermo (4470 meter) 4 hours of walk.
Walking along the corner of the valley, you come to see the rhododendron forest as well as the juniper forest. Further comes the scintillating views of green pastures where summer settlements is arranged for Yak and sheep grazing.
The trial further offers you a magnificent panorama of Cho Oyu Mountain, Kantiaga and Thamsharku. By the lunch time the trek brings you at Machhermo.
Day 07:
Machhermo to Gokyo (4790 meter) 5 hours of walk.
The trail takes you to point from where you can see the breath-taking view downwards and the wonderful view upwards of Cho Oyu Mountain. You will pave further to cross Pangram Lake of 4390 meter high.
Trek descends downward to bank of the river before you take upwards to see the Ngozumpa glacier. Ascending upwards in the glacier, you come to the point where the Longponga Lake of 4690 meter appears.
You will keep trailing upwards until Gokyo valley comes where Gokyo Lake at the height of 4750 meter is situated.
Day 08:
Departure from Kathmandu to your home country
Day 09:
Gokyo to Dole (4200 meter) 5 hours of walk
The returning trek follows the same path to come to Dole going past Machhermo from Gokyo. Overnight stay at the guest house.
Day 10 :
Dole to Namche Bazar (3440 meter) 5 hours of walk
You will retrace the path further through the same path as you’d trekked upwards till Phortse Gumpa. You ultimately come to Namche Bazar where your walk of the days ends. You will stay at a houseguest at night.
Day 11 :
Namche Bazar to Lukla (2828 meter)
With ups and downs you eventually arrive at Lukla today after paving the path by your legs for six hours. The night will be spent at Lukla at a guest house.
Day 12 :
Lukla to Kathmandu via plane
The 35 minutes flight lands you in the airport of capital Kathmandu taking your adventures and excitement as an experience in the box of your precious memory.

- The overland transport will be held on tourist coach as per the itinerary and size of the group.

- The charge for accommodation in Kathamndu in you early arrival before the trip will not be included and also the late departure. Moreover, the early departure from trek will also not included in our expense.
- We also don’t include the cost of international flights.
- The trip doesn’t offer the travel and rescue insurance.
- We also don’t include the phone calls, laundry, bar bills, battery recharge, extra poter etc.
- We also don’t offer tips for guides and porters, you can give them yourself if you like to give.
