Day 01 of Sikles Yoga Trek

Kathmandu to Pokhara (800 meter) – 6/7 hours of driveEarly in the morning, you’ll get on the luxurious coach to travel to Pokhara. You will lavish the journey thoroughly observing the high hills on both sides of the road while following the edge of the Trishuli River until you reach at Mugling. The green hills, jungles, small town on the sides of the road keep you engaging to enjoy. After about 6/7 hours of drive, you will reach to Pokhara. You will be taken to a hotel for the rest. Short briefing of the upcoming trek will be conducted. Overnight stay will be at a hotel.Pranayama and meditation in the evening. 

Day 02 of Sikles Yoga Trek

Pokhara to Tangting (1650 meter) via Chansu   1.5 hours of drive and 4 hours of trekkingYoga asana in the morningAbout an hour of drive out of Pokhara will take you to Chansu. The journey will be full of scenic hills, jungle until you reach to a Modi Khola. After getting off the vehicle by the river, the trekking starts with crossing the suspension bridge over a Modi Khola. The trails follows the ancient route along the edge of the river to ascend towards Tangting village. While paving through the climbing path, you will be greeted by the gorgeous view of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna II. As the trek climbs uphill the path gets narrower which make you walk on the steep stony path. Overnight stay will be at teahouse.Pranayama and meditation in the evening. 

Day 03 of Sikles Yoga Trek

Tangting to Sikles (1980 meter)   5/6 hours of trekkingYoga asana in the morningThe day has more excitement to offer! Descending down to the edge of Modi Khola, you will take the rising route to reach the top of the hill. The steep stony stairs through the terraced fields leads you to the most awaited and vantage point of Sikles Yoga Trek called Sikles village. Like previous village Tangting, Sikles is also the Gurung community with its prosperous cultural heritage and amicable local people. It’s one of the most fascinating place to stay and spend some precious and pragmatic time exploring the culture, ethnicity of the village as well as adoring the astounding atmosphere of the snowy mountains in the back-drop off the village. Sikles village offers the paradise panoramic view of Annapurna II, Annapurna IV and Lumjung Himal. Overnight stay will be at a teahouse.Pranayama and meditation in the evening. 

Day 04 of Sikles Yoga Trek

Sikles – The day of Exploration   3 to 4 hours of trekkingYoga asana in the morningThe day will be full of exploration of Sikles village and its proximity. The hike to Rishi Danda (2350 meter) will enhance the horizon of viewing the incredible mountainous view. It’s kind of rest day too as it allows to expedite in the village and get into the culture and custom of the Gurung community without much effort to trail through the path with bags. You also can visit the local Eco Museum if you manage to visit between 10 am to 4 pm.  Overnight stay will be at the same teahouse.Pranayama and meditation in the evening. 

Day 05 of Sikles Yoga Trek

Sikles to Tara Hill Top (2800 meter)    5 hours of trekkingYoga asana in the morningThe day can offer you more time for the practice of yoga and relaxation as you will leave Sikles after lunch for Tara Hill. The trek rises uphill through the jungle to reach the top of Tara Hill where the camp will be settled for the night. With the best hope to view the golden sunrise next morning, overnight stay will be taken place at a camp with limited amenities available as comparison to other days. However, the spectacular sunrise and its moment would pay your inconvenience of camp stay. Overnight will be at camp.Pranayama and meditation in the evening. 

Day 06 of Sikles Yoga Trek

Tara Hill Top to Ghalekharka/ Khadarjung (1669 meter) 5/6 hours of trekkingYoga asana in the morningGetting up early in the morning, the yoga practice will be continued as other day. The unique aspect of this day will be the practice of yoga welcoming the sunrise view from the top of Tara Hill which will perhaps be the moment of Sikles Yoga Trek. Then the trekking descends downhill through the thick forest to reach to the other side of Tara Hill Top. The night will be spent at Khalekharka or Khadarjung. Overnight stay will be at a teahouse.Pranayama and meditation in the evening. 

Day 07 of Sikles Yoga Trek

Ghalekharka to Pokhara  2 hours of trekking and 1.5 hours of driveYoga asana in the morningThe last day of Sikles Yoga Trek will be enjoyed with regular yoga practice. As soon as you will get refreshed by the yoga practice, the trek starts to take declining route with ease and comfort as the trek will be comparatively shorter than other days. Reaching at a road where the transport will be waiting for you to take you back to the city of lakes called Pokhara.

  • We provide you the bed and breakfast. Accommodation will be shared by two people. However, you can book for the single room with extra charge.
